Championship Course....PGA Certified, Vista Ridge Golf and Country Club is just outside of the quaint town of Sardinal, a mere 12 minutes from the beaches of Playas del Coco. Enjoy our course in the day and the nightlife of Coco Beach in the night. It is a sprawling 106 acre course with wildlife at each turn. It received the Ecological Distinction award Audubon Society and claims the title of being the most eco-friendly golf course in all of Costa Rica. At just over 6,500 yards in length with a slope rating of 125, it offers a challenge for the accomplished golfer whilst also allowing the beginner to enjoy.

Barceló Tambor

For guests looking to enjoy a gripping golf game during their vacation, the hotel offers the 'Los Delfines Golf & Country Club'. The course is located just 1 km away from the hotel. Guests at the Barceló Tambor hotel can take advantage of a complimentary 18-hole round on the golf course for each night of their stay.
This spectacular, competitive golf course built from its foundations by Barceló Group is located in the midst of beautiful tropical surroundings. The golf course's refurbishment was undertaken by Ulrich Lang, a Class A Superintendent since 1998 and a member of the GCSAA (Golf Course Superintendent Association of America).
The new design is steeped in more drama and improves viewing by spectators. The objective was to improve upon quality and rise to the strategic challenges presented by the golf course, at the level of environmental concerns, with a view to reduce maintenance issues when changing the bunkers. Ulrich Lang worked on replacing the drainage system for the bunkers and changed their design to turn them into typical British/European bunkers. These bunkers are respectful of the tropical climate and are better suited to handle rainfall than the previous bunkers were. Lastly, the bunkers mixed with new white sand are now available to guests.

The "Xanadú Mansion" Golf Course Club House, located on the San Bernardino crags, was designed by architects Covarrocas and Govantes in July 1927.
The owner of this exclusive estate was French American millionaire Irenee Dupont de Nemours, born on 21 December 1876, who eventually had 8 children, 35 grandchildren and 5 great-grand children. Irenee was the Dupont of that generation who took the greatest interest in developing the company founded by his great grandfather Eleuthere Dupont in Delaware in 1802. During Irenee's lifetime, the company became the largest diversified chemical products empire in the world, employing in 1957 90 000 workers in 74 plants worldwide. Before taking over the company chairmanship, Irenee had several jobs in construction, finances and development.

The award-winning golf course at Las Hadas Golf Resort & Marina offers challenging play in beautiful surroundings. Designed by Pete and Roy Dye, 15 of the 18 holes on this par-71 course play over the water, and more than 4,000 palm trees line the course.
